Diamond Lounge on Independence

We received an email that on our upcoming April 4th cruise on the Independence there would be 3 drink vouchers per person. Does this mean the dedicated lounge is no longer in use? What about the wonderful hours d'oeuvres? Does anyone know if the wine glasses are the little ones like those used on Celebrity? Any information would be helpful. thanks!

The dedicated lounge with the hot/cold snacks is still available, the drink vouchers are in addition to the lounge. Unlimited drinks in the lounge, the vouchers are for outside the lounge.

Not sure if anything changed, but when we sailed on Indy last December everything was business as usual. DL was in use with the normal drinks and snacks from 5:00 - 8:30 along with the 3 drink vouchers.

The DL on the Freedom class ships is a great lounge with an additional outside sitting area.

I agree with Ashland. The DL on the Freedom class ships is awesome. There are great views of the ocean from inside the lounge and the outside seating area is really nice. I much prefer it to the DL on Oasis/Allure.

If you are doing the TA most likely the DL will be in the Pyramid lounge on 5 deck due to the high number of D and D+ members.
