how late we will have light in september?

We are in Juneau til quite late in the evening, and if it's not cloudy rainy gloomy-how late will it remain light? We may want to wander up Mt Roberts after an excursion, and hope that it will still be light enough to do some decent photography and a short hike.

The first week of September you should have sun (OK, filtered by clouds and rain) until about 7:30 and twilight for about 40 minutes after that.

Thanks everyone, I guess it will actually have night and darkness on this cruise, i was worried I needed to bring eye patches or something to make sure it's dark.

Absolutely, it will get dark for your sleeping.
