Cabana Service on HMC, Carnival

We have rented a cabana for our trip to HMC later in the summer. What kind of waiter service can we expect? Are they guys attentive? Should we sweeten the pot when we first get to the cabana to ensure attentive service?

We don't want to have to chase after a waiter to get a beer or a rum & coke? Does anyone have any experience? We'll be on Carnival Ecstasy.

We just got back and had rented a Villa. They walked by the front and we could have flagged one down, but they did not specifically stop at ours to ask if we needed anything. I wonder though if we had ordered drinks, I'm sure that person would have come back periodically throughout the day to see if we needed anything else. Happy cruising!

We are just back from HMC on the Ecstasy. The bartenders don't stop at each cabana but they do go up and down the beach. The cabanas are at the back of the beach so it might not be easy to flag one down. Honestly, it takes a while for them to go back to the bar and bring your drink. We just went and got our own, it was faster and that way it wasn't all melted when we got it. I don't like paying $10 for melted drinks ;) and they melt fast in that blazing sun! If you tip heavy at the beginning of the day, you might get someone who will stop by and check on you frequently.

We had cabana # 10 and were there last week (5-10-16). We flagged down a waiter first thing and ordered a pitcher of margueritas. Kept the pitcher in the fridge to keep it cold in between refills. The waiter did stop by a cpl times thru out the day to check on us, but that pitcher was all we needed.
