Taxi Island Tour?

I thought I had already posted this question....but now I don't see it!

 

Are island tours available via taxi...to just grab at the pier? Are they available in the afternoon? Are they open-air (like St Thomas) or a/c van type vehicles? What do you see if you take an island tour? Approximate cost pp?

I'd like to know this as well. We'll be in Bonaire next March, and we have a tour booked with Woodwind in the afternoon, but I was hoping to take a taxi tour to the salt flats and flamingos. I looked for a short tour that would end before we had to be at Woodwind but can't find anything. I know my kids would love to see the flamingos.

There are lot of vendors on the pier when you get off the ship. Very well organized tents with different companies offering different excursions. Not like Bahamas where vendors fighting with each other. I'm sure you'll find someone to take you on the island tour.
