Liberty tugs

Carnival issued a statement that people on the may 21st cruise will have their cruise cut by

one day while she sits in Galveston so they can start to finalize the fixing of the problem. People can board the ship and be on board that day, receive a $100 credit, or a refund if they are not happy. Unfortunately this will not finalize what needs to be done, so tugs have been ordered for the month of June so that they can dock in Cozumel. Hope this helps:)

I watched her sail in from the pier in Galveston this morning, the tugs are more than capable. I would not hesitate to sail on her, even if the issue is not fixed since they have arranged tugs in Galveston and the other ports she sails to.

Liberty only does 4/5 day trips to Cozumel and Cozumel/Progreso.
