srphnx Posted May 9, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 9, 2004 NO, it is a selling (sailing) point that they don't in fact. Doug&Nadine Posted May 9, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 9, 2004 If you mean in the swimming pools, the Tahitian Princess is the only Princess ship that I have been on that uses salt water in their pool. Pacific Princess may also use salt water as they were both Rennaisance ships. Sapphire Princess - Coastal
Rare Hlitner Posted May 9, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 9, 2004 Yep, I would assume the Pacific also uses salt. This was the design on all the Ren R ships (they are all identical). Princess would have to do some major plumbing to change this system, and they have yet to do any major renovations on the old R ships. usavvy2 Posted May 11, 2004 #7 Share Posted May 11, 2004 But it's still a Princess line ship THIS year (and that's when I'm going again). Maybe they'll make some changes in dry dock. But I'll pack goggles just in case. not taking vacations but collecting experiences - usavvy2 Royal Princess 9/04/04 - "Europe or Bust!"
