3rd Deck Ocean view

So trying to get a new reservation and looking at a 3rd deck ocean view sate room 3150. The cruise we are looking at is next summer on a port intensive Mediterranean cruise with only one at sea day. My thought was a rather be closer to the tenders and the main dinning room, because we really will not be using the buffet or pool. We have never been on a Celebrity S class so any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Looking at either stateroom 3154, 3150, 3146 not far from the passport bar.

We were in 3142 last summer on the Equinox Istanbul to Rome. Liked the location so much we are booked in the same cabin this July Rome to Barcelona. We loved the location-easy access to Passport bar, elevators and only one level down to exit the ship for excursions. Also found it to be very quiet hallway.

Looks like the casino is above these staterooms. Did you notice any noise from the casino, especially since the casino is open well into the early morning hours?

Thanks! I booked 3150 for a reduced deposit with my TA. I learned from my last cruise that its better to be mid-ship than high up and forward. I hated that long walk from the bow to stern of the ship.

 

latra if you have not been to Barcelona make sure to stay a few extra days. Fantastic city, best in Spain! Recommend Hotel Jazz

 

Tartan - Looks like the reviews and from the threads I have been able to find is that the OV below Quasar are noisy and the odd staterooms under the stores are also a little noise. Not much info about under the Casino - must be a secret

We had friends who stayed near your location and loved it, we would often 'come down' and meet them at the Passport Bar for pre dinner drinks!

Glad you were able to book. Never heard any noise above us. We always prefer a lower deck mid ship over a higher deck.

 

We are staying a few days post cruise in Barcelona as well as a couple in Madrid before heading home.

I have booked 1 of these cabins a couple times and found them quiet and very convenient. Wonderful location, low down and midship.

Was in 3139 on the Eclipse last year, and it was convenient and quiet, under the shops. Higher odd-numbered cabins are under shops; lower numbers under Quasar. On the starboard (even numbered side) it's casino or 'Celebrity Central'). We went for port side to avoid the casino.
