Taste of Key West Tour

Has anyone taken the Taste of Key West Tour? If so, how did you like the tour? It looks interesting. It seems to be operated by the same company that does the Key West Pub Crawl tour.

 

Does anyone know if cruise ships are going to be able to dock at Key West since hurricane Wilma? We are supposed to be in Key West on the Radisson Voyager November 22nd - 23rd. I would hate to miss Key West. I have never been there. Does anyone know where to go to get information about the status of the damage, etc.

The best source for news will be http://www.keysnews.com the website for the local newspaper, The Key West Citizen. It is too early to know if the city will be able to handle cruise ships by then; but assessments are being made continuously and when decisions are made they will be posted in the paper. The town is in a state of emergency and still grappling with the overwhelming damage caused by the tidal surge produced by Wilma.

Key West is teeming with cruise ships! Saw 2-3 different ones everyday for the past week and many stayed past the 4 pm Mallory Square curfew (really frustrating to those booked on hotel rooms at Mallory who had there view blocked!)

 

Most tourist things are up and running - our favorite parasail place wasn't up and running until 2 days ago, so couldn't squeeze that in, but the glassbottom boat Discovery and the Western Union Star gazing tour were a blast!
