MarkusDY Posted July 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2016 Hi, I am really unhappy with my travel agent and wondered if anyone has asked P&O (or other cruise line) to take back a booking from a travel agent, and if this is possible? Any advice appreciated.

Any advice appreciated. With Royal Caribbean, it can be done, but the travel agent has to agree. There are some extenuating circumstances where they will take back the booking against the will of the travel agent, but these would be very unusual. Shmoo here Posted July 25, 2016 #4 Share Posted July 25, 2016 Hi, I am really unhappy with my travel agent and wondered if anyone has asked P&O (or other cruise line) to take back a booking from a travel agent, and if this is possible? Any advice appreciated. First, I would find out if your TA charges any fees for releasing the booking. Some do. Then, I believe, you have to get a statement or something from the TA agreeing to the release. The cruise lines won't do it, you have to do it. MarkusDY Posted July 25, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted July 25, 2016 Thank you for your suggestions. This is kind of how I expected it. As I've been unable to reach the cruise line on the phone yet, I thought I'd ask the question in here too.
MCC retired Posted July 25, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 25, 2016 It is not easy . But If you are not past final payment and you can convince the cruise line that the TA is not servicing your booking properly , it can be done . As stated there may be a TA fee .
