Piraeus port to Athens airport

Are you aware that there's an Airport Express Bus (X96) from Piraeus Port to the airport? It leaves Piraeus every 20-30 minutes and takes about 75 minutes to reach the airport. The fare is €6 per person. There's plenty of space for luggage storage.

 

An arranged transfer for 5 means an expensive specialty vehicle or 2 taxis, for a minimum of: Day time (05:00-24:00) 45 € and Night time (24:00-05:00) 65 € per taxi.

If you are not travelling with too much baggage, you can also take the Athens Metro from Piraeus (Port of Athens) to Athens city centre and then continue on to the Athens Airport. Enjoy your trip!

how much is it to get a taxi at the port to airport for 2? ship transfers are outrageous...but are they more reliable? first time in Mediterranean/greece!

I have booked with a company called Welcome Pickups. Taxi for 2 and 3 pc luggage for 54 Euros (port to airport). This was recommended by several friends who have used them for a number of bookings, not just port-airport

Our hotel quoted us and we've booked with them €49 per way (to Piraeus).

any idea of turnaround? our flight leaves at noon...guess we can get off the ship around 8am....enough time? or i will book ship transfers for mucho money
