CKEA_Cruising_Family Posted August 9, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 9, 2016 Seems like there are new Lido options and wondering if anyone asked about gluten free at the Pig and Anchor. Also, anyone have gluten free luck at the Indian station on the Lido? TIA
SadieN Posted August 9, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 9, 2016 If you do not get an answer, speak to one of the food and beverage managers on the Lido. They're the ones wearing the officer whites. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
simplelife Posted August 10, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 10, 2016 (edited) I noticed a good number of gluten free options labeled in the buffet or on the menus in the MDR Edited August 10, 2016 by simplelife
Rare crewsweeper Posted August 10, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 10, 2016 For Pig and Anchor. Obviously any unsauced meats will be gluten free. But if you're celiac, you'll need to double check what type of thickening was used in the sauce. And obviously the mac n cheese will NOT be. Collard Greens will work. Beans, cole slaw and potato salad should all be okay, but again, if you are celiac, ask about what was used in the thickening. And if you contact Special needs in advance and request a full slate of gluten free dining, a hostess or one of the food and service managers will escort you down the buffet and point to lots of items that can fit your hunger cravings.
