Goldieone1 Posted August 10, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2016 Hi there, I have a quick question. My cruise arrives to Fort Lauderdale at 7 am from the Southern Caribbean on December 23 and my flight leaves from the Fort Lauderdale airport at 1:35 pm. Do you think there is enough time to disembark and get to the airport? Are there taxis waiting at the cruise ship terminal or should we schedule a shuttle to wait for us to take us to the airport? This is the first time that I have booked a flight on the same day that the cruise arrives so not sure if we have done the right thing. Thank you for your help. Deborah. 39august Posted August 10, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2016 Plenty of time. No sweat! Tons of taxis at the pier. Airport is only about 15 minutes away from the port. Definitely no need for a shuttle.
Desert Cruizers Posted August 10, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 10, 2016 We have flown in and out of FT Lauderdale several times and it is really easy to fly to the West Coast although your a bit North of us. Depending on our arrival to So Calif, we have also chosen to spend one night and catch an early flight home rather then late at night as we did last Oct.
