B2B question.

No. We had some friends that were doing a S2S and the first leg was delayed arriving due to Hurricane Sandy. They got a full refund for the second leg and the airlines adjusted their return home flight for no additional charge (I think CCL has a "deal" with major carriers for them to forgo such charges in situations like this).

Not really sure if CCL has a "deal" with the airlines for situations like that. We were returning home behind hurricane Sandy, got an extra day at sea because of the hurricane (wasn't safe to dock), and when we got ahold of the airlines, and told them of our situation, they wanted $1200 per person to change our flight by 1 day......we wound up renting a car to get home. We had trip insurance, and they did not reimburse us because we turned down a flight and rented a car instead, which was way cheaper. They would have reimbursed us for the flight had we have taken it. They would have rather paid out more money than less money......go figure

So wouldn't it be easier to do a b2b? And how do you know where all the ships are?

Yes easier, but not as much fun. There are both advantages and disadvantages to doing B2B or S2S.

The advantages of B2B are you don't have to pack everything up and move to a new ship and you are familiar with the layout of the ship and that makes it easier to get around. If you have the same dining room table the wait staff are familiar with your requests. That also goes with the room steward.

The disadvantages of a B2B are the CD's jokes are the same as well as the shows. The comedians might be the same with the same jokes. Sometimes The advantage to doing a B2B or S2S is one airfare, one hotel, but sometimes it's hard to get that much time off from work at one time

Sometimes the ship's only do western every week. Some do western one week than eastern the next week. That is the best in my opinion.

The advantage of a S2S is you have different ports, maybe slightly different food and different shows, different comedians, and shows. Plus you get to meet a whole bunch of new people! In our case the 2nd half we have booked a spa room.

So your mileage may very, but what ever floats your boat. Pun intended!

As to where the boats are that is where a good PVP is priceless.
