Other Princess Number help?

We received a cruise award from the Venetian after gambling. When booking with Princes, the Venetian's rep put in a fake phone number (122-111-2222) and DH's name as the travel agent. Since it seems like all communications go through the listed travel agent, I have contacted Princess Customer Service by email (customer relations@princess.com) and phone 1-800-774-6237. The email was never responded to. The Customer Rep took the correct information down about a week ago. The cruise personalizer still has the wrong information. This is my first time sailing on Princess. Not too impressed with the level of customer service so far. Is there another number or email address that more experienced Princess Cruise passengers have found to be useful in addressing problems?

It is very possible that the "fake phone number" is a code for your particular casino-sponsored booking. Same type of apparent nonsense sequence shows when you book through a Princess Vacation Planner (rather than a generic phone rep or online).

Is all the name address phone and e-mail information correct in the passenger section of your personalizer?

When you speak to a phone rep at Princess, do they consider it a TA booking? Since they will willing to verify your correct information, my guess is no.

Seems to me you are worrying over nothing.

You're not going to be able to correct that information. Only the TA can do that. Princess will talk to you about your own personal information, but the TA details can only be changed by the TA.

As others have said, as long as YOUR personal information is correct, I wouldn't worry about the rest.

What is the "incorrect" information?

If it's the fake phone # & DH name, I wouldn't worry about it...as long as the important stuff is correct. Name, address, passport #, OBC, cruise fully paid...who cares about the rest.

I agree, your correct personal info and it's fully paid.

  • 1 month later...

Thank you for the advice. You were correct the fake phone number was a code used by the casino to track our reservation. Although some communications went out concerning delayed boarding that we did not receive, luckily the cruise critic roll call was able to give us aheads up. Thanks again and cruise well:)
