Just back from Italy and we had one tour guide that just went through the motions and another that was over the top-Made it a Fantastic Day!

Another good resource .... read thru trip reports posted in STICKYs above. You can read about the vendor, size of boat, layout, length of time, etc and what worked best for each traveler. Some folks like the small 6-10 passenger boats, whereas others prefer larger boats because they don't bounce around as much, but not a huge boat where they fight for space at the rails.
