Vronsky Posted September 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2016 Hi, I'd like to get more familiar with the Queen Elizabeth, before booking a long cruise on this ship. By the end of this year, the QE will have a stop-over in Amsterdam, and I'd like to board it's next leg to Brugge-Belgium. Is this possible, just one short leg ?? THANKS, V. Ray66 Posted September 25, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2016 (edited) If you mean the 5 day cruise on the 29th December, it is only sold as Southampton-Southampton on Cunard's website Southampton, Amsterdam, Amsterdam, Zeebrugge (Bruges), Southampton so I think you might still have to pay the full 5 day fare if boarding in Amsterdam. Would you then be thinking of disembarking in Southampton or Belgium (Zeebrugge)? Someone is asking a similar question on another thread: http://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2405457 Just taken a look at the prices on Cunard's website. All categories apart from balcony are sold out. Cheapest balcony (BF) is showing £1,299 (£260pp per night) Edited September 25, 2016 by Ray66
Host Hattie Posted September 25, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2016 The New Year trip is always the most expensive short break of the year - there is a 3 night round trip from Southampton to Zeebrugge on 19th November. It would be cheaper to do some or all of that trip (if it was possible). There are direct flights between Amsterdam and Southampton.
