Upsell call

Hi,

 

My husband and I are sailing on the getaway 11/6 in a mini suite. I am very interested in upgrading to the haven. I unfortunately haven't received the bidding email. Has anyone that's going on a getaway or escape cruise had any success in calling the upsell dept on a getaway or escape cruise after this program started? I'm worried with this new program, they won't even allow me to pay for an upsell. I plan to call next week.

I would call now. we sail on 11/13/16 on the Getaway and received our offer to bid email last Saturday. I called as we have a balcony guarantee and the only upgrade option with Mini Suite or Haven and we were looking to upsell to an aft balcony if possible. The rep stated only certain people were obtaining email and you could only upsell to the options provided in your email. Good Luck to you!

It won't hurt to make a few calls and check with your PCC too if you have one. Good Luck:)

The email is something brand new NCL started sending. I think they only start a couple of weeks ago. There is a thread on CC talking about it. Also, yes I am a US Citizen, but I dont think that matters.

Thanks SLRoth. I have seen many posts on cc about this Upsell over quite a long period of time now but thought it was perhaps only for US citizens which is why i was interested.
