lightsleeper Posted October 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2016 Does any know if the ship time and the port time are different for Limon, Costa Rica? We will be on the Coral Princess in early Feb. 2017 and trying to set up local tours
joybook Posted October 3, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2016 In my experience, when you dock it is always local time on the ship.:)
wheezedr Posted October 3, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 3, 2016 Most importantly check the actual time as you get off the ship and if necessary change your watch or other means of time keeping to that time. Do not assume that your phone or pad will autoadjust to the time that the ship is using
joeyancho Posted October 3, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 3, 2016 Took this cruise last December. I am pretty sure they are one in the same.
flamomo Posted October 3, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 3, 2016 The ships time is USUALLY adjusted to match the time in the port being visited. There will be a notice in the Princess Patter when the time is to be adjusted either forward or backward, so you can plan to reset your watch or other time keeping device, and a small card with that same info will also be placed on your pillow, by your cabin steward, the evening of the night the change is to occur.
