Holiday Decor?

Hubby and I went on a RCL cruise right after Thanksgiving in 2002. The ship was decorated beautifully for Christmas. We are scheduled the same week on the Golden this year. Does anyone know when Princess decorates the ships for the holidays?

About the same time

From Thanksgiving through New Years it's quite a celebration.

Here's the display they did in the atrium on the Caribbean Princes last year on Christmas Day. These things I think they do on the actual holiday itself. We've cruised on other holidays and seen a similar setup:

Here's how the atrium was decorated:

Here's the guest services desk

You might also find

  • Very nice holiday decorations
  • Various religious services
  • Champagne flows freely for all when you board
  • Special Holiday Dinner with Commemorative take-home parchment menu (probably just on the actual holiday)
  • Santa for the kids, young or old
  • Christmas caroling with the ship's entertainers (way fun)
  • Cabin and balcony decorating by those passengers that want to
  • None of Aunt Noras lousy Green Bean and Mushroom Soup casserole that shoulda been hot and probably once was but now it got cold in the car on the way over

We even found something special in our cabin:

Chris we are on the 12/24 sailing of the CB and you stated that people decorate their balconies. What exactly do they bring...lights, etc. We have red bows for our doors. Since we are literally at the back of the ship B748/749 it would be cool to bring some lights to twinkle.

What have you seen? I don't want to look stupid.

Thanks
