Cape Liberty to Newark

Yikes. No way would I attempt this. This area is nothing like Ft. Lauderdale and doing the self disembark off the Oasis. You are talking about a totally industrial area with major highways. I don't think a day goes by that there is not an accident and traffic back-ups. If it was a Saturday or Sunday, I might say "go for it", but it is a Thursday with rush hour traffic.

Is it possible to make a 9:30am flight on a Thursday morning

Don't even consider it. Too many things can go wrong. You'd have to self disembark and be first in line. Then you have to get yourself to EWR at the height of the NY metro area rush hour. For EWR you have to allow at least 1.5 hours to go through security. No one on this forum is going to tell you any flight before noon is going to be just fine.
