Ft. Lauderdale: New, Best, Different?!!?

It's always nice to see people enjoying our wonderful city! The water taxi sure is a popular way to get around when visiting. I think we get so used to the water that we forget to appreciate it sometimes ourselves :)

 

Appreciate this nice follow-up. BUT, wanted to check how the recovery is doing in the Fort Lauderdale area after Hurricane Irma. Understand many were without power and having certain wind and water damages. What is the basic update as to when and how things will be "back to normal", both for visiting FLL, plus the various cruise trips to the Caribbean?

Everything is essentially back to normal already. There are still a few unlucky souls without power but most everyone has it back now. Streets are relatively cleaned up, at least the main roads. Stores are all open and back to normal, etc.
