Beast Mode Posted October 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2016 Going on Midnatsol in Feb. Antarctica cruise. They will confiscate wine if we bring on board. Has anyone been on Hurtigruten Antarctica cruise in 2016 and been able to get wine aboard for cabin consumption?
lifes-a-beach Posted October 15, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 15, 2016 If you meant to type "onboard" instead of "aboard" I believe the answer is yes.
AussieOmni Posted October 15, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 15, 2016 If you meant to type "onboard" instead of "aboard" I believe the answer is yes. Think he means aboard as in smuggling it on. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Rare LHT28 Posted October 15, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 15, 2016 There is a forum for Hurtigruten you could ask there http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
Sea Hag Posted October 16, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 16, 2016 "Aboard" is perfectly correct. Merriam-Webster says this: Simple Definition of aboard : on, onto, or within a train, a ship, an airplane, etc.
NMLady Posted October 16, 2016 #6 Share Posted October 16, 2016 (edited) Going on Midnatsol in Feb. Antarctica cruise. They will confiscate wine if we bring on board. Has anyone been on Hurtigruten Antarctica cruise in 2016 and been able to get wine aboard for cabin consumption? If you ask this question on the Hurtigruten board be sure you put an idea of your question in the subject box. Otherwise it defaults to your screen name. I presume you are asking about smuggling wine aboard rather than buying it onboard. Edited October 16, 2016 by NMLady
