12:00-12:30 Check-in at NOLA

I'm not sure when they started implementing the staggered check-in times but we chose 12:00-12:30. I'm hoping the mad rush will already be through the line by then. Anyone had experience with this check-in time? We will have about a 5.5-6 hr drive & I don't see us being able to get there any sooner.

Purchase FTTF. After your long drive to Nola, you'll be able to walk right on the ship within 15 minutes of dropping your bags off to the porters

If you arrive later than your check in time you will be able to enter the building and the lines may not be as long. WE had 10-10:30 at NOLA last year and it went relatively smoothly.

We sailed on the Dream in March. Our check in time was 12:30 to 1:00. We were in the terminal at 12:30 and went right through. The longest part was when they checked all of our 12 packs of drinks (we had 8 people and everyone brought one). No line to get sign and sail cards and set up our cash account. Our rooms were ready also.

 

If you are late they will let you in...just not if you are early.

Can anyone comment on traffic around 12:00-1:30? Have to drive from Memphis that morning---Sun of Thanksgiving weekend.
