One update to the above, if you are sailing on Anthem or Harmony I believe that most items on the room service menu have a charge. May also apply to other Quantum class ships.

Quantum class ships have a service charge of $4.95 from 11:00pm - 6:00am.

 

Room service is entirely complimentary if you're booked in a grand suite or higher.

Some items are complimentary and some have a charge. The menu clearly separates them.

Yes for Anthem as we have sailed on that ship. I am pretty sure it also applies to Harmony and the other Quantum class ships. Basically anything cooked is charged for all the time such as eggs for breakfast. Coffee is still free during the daytime hours. There are threads with the room service menus on here if you do a search.

The times can vary by ship and sail date. I have seen 10:30 PM to 5 AM. And that earlier time will probably apply on any ship during spring break cruises.
