We usually fly into and or stay in Miami but for our next cruise it is much less expensive to fly into Fort Lauderdale. However, this time the flight does not get in until 10:00 PM so we were thinking of just staying of someplace close to the airport so that in the morning we could shuttle back to the airport and get a transfer to the pier. We would also be staying a night post cruise. For the post cruise stay we are looking for someplace that possible has early check in and some things to do with in walking distance (beach, shopping, dining). Does anyone have any suggestions.

Just start scrolling down the board and on to page 2, 3, 4, 5 and on and on and you will find hundreds of posts with your same question. You can also use the search function towards the upper right of the screen.

Post cruise, I wouldn't worry about early check in. ( and certainly not pay for it) If your room is not ready, you can drop your bags and have the desk call your cell when a room opens if you really want to get in at the earliest moment.

In the meantime, start your day. ;) If on a weekend, you will be arriving at the hotel while other cruisers are checking out. The cruiser popular hotels can be hectic with the switch over.
