JaniceB Posted November 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 25, 2016 Has anyone done this excursion recently? How many snorkel stops did you make and what restaurant did you go to? Also how many people were on the excursion with you?
Jey01 Posted December 10, 2016 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2016 I would like to know too! We've never been to Belize so I was thinking a carnival excursion would be good. But I hate it when it's jammed packed with people Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Jey01 Posted December 10, 2016 #3 Share Posted December 10, 2016 On carnival there seems to be 2 of these excursions. Wonder what the difference is? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
2wheelin Posted December 13, 2016 #4 Share Posted December 13, 2016 I recently did the Carnival excursion snorkeling, shark ray alley and Caye Caulker. It was amazing with excellent guides. About 25 people on the boat were divided into beginner and experienced groups. Each had their own guides who retrieved different species of starfish and brought them to the surface for us to feel. They found and fed a huge green moray eel and pointed out many different kinds of fish and coral. When we left the island, they went to the back side and fed tarpon which jumped out of the water. On the return trip, between cups of rum punch, Dolphins were spotted and we stopped to watch them for a while. I would highly recommend.

JaniceB Posted January 2, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted January 2, 2017 I think lunch is on your own. There are many places to eat on Caye Caulker.
HLNFan Posted February 23, 2017 #9 Share Posted February 23, 2017 From what I can tell, the two different Carnival shark/ray excursions are slightly different. One has snorkeling and goes to Los Olas for lunch, the other doesn't have snorkeling but goes to the Lazy Lizard at the split.
JaniceB Posted March 15, 2017 Author #10 Share Posted March 15, 2017 The Lazy Lizard gets my vote.
