Windjammer and Main Dining Room are complimentary.

 

Windjammer is open for lunch upon boarding.

 

Other venues depend on the particular ship.

Sorry, I should have stated that we would be on the Allure. I cannot find which are open upon boarding other than WJ. Also, which have complimentary lunch throughout the cruise.

The Compass will show all lunch options and those that are extra cost will have a ($) notation.

Allure? In that case, many members recommend the Park Cafe roast beef sandwiches that they serve for lunch on day 1.

MDR, Buffet( Windjammer), Promenade, Park Cafe and other venues depending on ship. some offerings may only be snacks, pastries etc or very light options( soup and salad)

 

Johnny Rockets may have free breakfast on the larger ships, but a cover charge for lunch and dinner.

 

only WJ and Promenade/Park Cafe will be open for lunch on embarkation day. we prefer PC or Sorrentos(pizza) on the promenade.. not as busy and more room to stash carry ons until the cabin is ready. plus, easier to people watch.

 

MDR only serves lunch on sea days.

 

Room service is included except during 11 pm and 6 am, where a $4 charge is assessed. a tip is still appropriate($1-5 depending on how much you order) to the delivery person. there are also items on the RS menu that do cost extra. same as the MDR, for that matter.
