Celebrity Silhouette cabin 1048? Help

Hello booked this cabin, now a friend told me that my balcony would be blocked from viewing forward.

 

Sailing 1/8/2017 and I choose this from limited available because its close

to elevators. I use mobility walker so I believe being close to elevator trumps view. Am I right?

You cabin is at the rear of a slant, and will have some decreased view forward, You need to go to the Celebrity board here and check out the cabin reviews on the S class cabin sticky at the top of the page. EM
