Volendam gap in schedule Nov 2017

Does anyone know what is taking place in the Gap in Volendam's schedule from November 24, until Dec 6. It finishes a cruise from Hong Kong to Singapore on Nov 24, and then leaves again back to Singapore on Dec 6.

 

Thinking about booking the earlier cruise, but not if it is in dry dock during that break. Will if it is doing a charter during that period.

Volendam had a 2 week dry-dock in Singapore in December 2014. Your supposition may be accurate.

It looks like a ke the Volendam might be going into drydock again if I read this correctly. From Cruise Corner

Thank you. I had not known that HAL uses Singapore for some dry docks. That would explain the gap.

 

I think I will pick a different date. Do not want to be on board for the cruise immediately prior.

During a recent cruise on the Volendam the captain said the most recent Volendam drydock work was carried out in Singapore in 2014, and they were due their 3 year drydock inspection during 2017.
