lorisch Posted January 4, 2017 #26 Share Posted January 4, 2017 Was recently on the Koningsdam and there are very few clocks in public areas. On the Lido deck above the area leading to the Spa/gym area was one of the few places I saw one. I was always looking for a clock in the stairwells and when I asked, someone suggested I look at the small readout on the nearby phone on the wall. Topsham Posted January 4, 2017 #27 Share Posted January 4, 2017 If you are really worried about time, just ask the bar tender. After closing time and before opening time it probably won't matter much anyway.
Globaliser Posted January 4, 2017 #28 Share Posted January 4, 2017 On old ships ...I have vivid memories of ss Norway. Dozens of clocks around the ship; no two clocks ever seemed to tell the same time.

Yes, sometimes I have shudders thinking about the NOWAY as well! The old NORWAY was a fine ship. Two Carib cruises and two others were Transatlantics and that was she was made for. The clocks. They were probably the old originals back from the 60s. I can't remember. They work, but heck... she was just plan old.:)
