Has Anyone Else Cancelled Caribbean Cruises After Sailing Alaska?

Sorry OP but for us two AK cruises was more than enough. AK is too big and there is too much to do to limit yourself to cruises. We still cruise the Caribbean often, and occasionally the Med, but for AK we do land trips at least two weeks in length.

I love the Caribbean- I was stationed there for several years. I have always yearned to go back. So when I discovered cruising I was elated. Problem- we cruised Alaska last year. I have cancelled the three Carib cruises we had booked just to get back to Alaska. Has anyone else experienced this cancel Carib to cruise Alaska phenomenon?

Why would you cancel a caribbean cruise  It's completely different from Alaska and hardly comparable and usually good deals can be had for the caribbean. JMHO but I think you've made a mistake ;)
