Entrance to Valparaiso Terminal de Pasajeros (VTP)

We plan to take a Tur-Bus from Santiago to Valparaiso. We originally had plan to take a taxi to Valparaiso Terminal de Pasajeros. However, if we walk, do we have to go near Baron Metro Station in order to enter the port area before walking to VTP. If so, we may go by Jumbo supermarket before going to VTP to get some wine before checking-in.

Although the ship is near Sotomayor Square, you have to take a bus from the ship to the terminal, and then anther bus from the terminal to near the Baron metro station. No access to enter or exit.
