Cruise on Thomson Dream April 10 - yellow fever document?

Recommended Posts

We are booked on Thomson Dream flying to Jamaica, sailing from Montego Bay on 16 night cruise. Been told that we do not need to have yellow fever vaccination as long as we have not visited a country at risk of yellow fever in the last 6 months. We have not, but how do we prove it?

I have done this TA twice from Montego Bay you do not need a yellow fever certificate You are classed as passing through and on arrival at the airport you will be fast tracked through a side door onto a coach and do not go through the arrivals/immigration procedure in the main airport

You leave that evening on the ship and visit other islands before crossing Atlantic to Madeira where no certificate is required

We will be cruising with you it's a great cruise you'll really enjoy I'm sure

agree I have YF vaccination but OH didnt. Were whisked through airport and just filled in form to hand in at port. YF is only required if you have visited a risk country in previous 6 months.

We did top up on some jabs as recommended by GP. Asking about YF was a good way to discover what we should have and were lacking.

We also didn't pay the departure tax as cruise only. If you stay in Jamaica even for 1 day you then have to pay it.
