Formal Night on the Anthem

Are coats and ties necessary on formal nights? Is the food on formal nights comparable to the food on a normal night in the MDR? Or is it substantially better?

While formal attire is requested it is certainly not required. You will find a wide variety of dress on formal nights from tuxes to khakis and a collared shirt.

Yes.No, though better is subjective.

What is served on "lobster night" is a warm water tail - sometimes good, sometimes not so much. The "for a fee" lobster is a whole Maine lobster. Big difference.
