deck 5 & 6 on Dream.

Hi Again,

 

We've got an outside cabin on deck 5 or 6 booked for our cruise but in the brochure It comments that some windows may be obstructed by lifeboats.

I was wondering if anyone knows if the 5 & 6 decks have lifeboats as they look like they have no outside deck around them?

I also noticed that there are a small number of outside cabins deck 5 & 6 on deck 10 too! maybe these are restricted views?

I was on deck 4. It only had port holes. I loved it. You could hear the sea against the side of the boat and see it splash up against the window.

Lifeboats are on Deck 10. There are no obstructions on deck 5 and 6.

It is advisable to look at deck plans when selecting a cabin as all the info is there

The best thing was not being able to tell the difference between the ship rocking and me having too much Prosecco :D

Thanks for all the replies, I can see now that the lifeboats only obstruct the cabin windows on deck 10.

I can't really see any other downsides to outside cabins on deck 5 & 6 so I think we'll just keep our fingers crossed.
