European Formal Nights

Going on a Baltic cruise this June on the Vision. Wondering if people dress up more on formal nights for European itineraries?

We did a Med cruise on Vision in 2015 but it was so port intensive and we were so tired it was amazing that we made it to dinner at all. I honestly don't remember many people dressing "to the nines" on any night. This upcoming trip is similar in number of ports.

I took one dressy dress but was unable to wear it since I broke my foot the day before we boarded and couldn't wear the shoes (heels) with it. Think I will just opt for black slacks and a couple of nice tops.

I would think you will find people will dress more during formal night during a Baltic or cruise from Europe Ports. Myself I am leaning more to black slacks and sparkly tops. The one cruise we did from Barcelona, a TA we saw people dressed up. Now when we did our NZ cruise from Sydney, while many dressed up, it was more casual especially on non formal nights.
