Few questions about Dubai and the cruise on VOTS, scheduled to cruise 27th March 2017.

 

1. Can you buy alcohol (wine) on arrival at Dubai International airport and do you require a license if you are a UK passport holder/residence

 

2. Can we still take 2 bottles of wine on board per stateroom

 

3. On a transatlantic cruise on the OOTS from Southampton to Fort Lauderdale we purchased a wine package for lunch/dinner, cannot find anything like that for VOTS Dubai cruise. Have RCCL stopped doing this package?

Not familiar with Dubai cruises, but to the best of my knowledge the two bottles of wine per stateroom applies to all RC cruises, with no corkage fees.

 

Again, not sure if Dubai cruises would be different, but there are no longer wine packages. The beverage packages have been combined and simplified and include discounts on bottles of wine.

RC still allows you to bring on two bottles of wine per stateroom. No corkage fees anywhere on the ship.

 

RC has no fleetwide wine packages anymore. However, the ship may offer their own package. Check once you get onboard.
