Thanks...we did this tour on Monday and there was a few hours afterwards we could have used to go to the beach. What beach did they end up meeting you at? We asked and was told mr sanchos was 30 min away so we decided against it.

We went to Paradise Beach since it was only $3 entrance and pay as you go.

Perfect! That's where we were torn between Amazing Race and Paradise Beach. Glad to know we can maybe do both! :cool:

is this booked thru the cruise line or independently?

I think it is offered in St Maarten if you google.

 

 

We did it in St. Maarten and it is called THE FAMILY RACE.

 

It was great.

 

In St. Maarten, what ever you take, you carry, so have some one with a back pack for minimal essentials.

 

Enough places to buy water.

How did your children get to Paradise Beach? My understanding is that Amazing Race utilizes taxis to return contestants to the pier. Did your children ask their driver to take them to Paradise Beach instead, or did they ride back to the pier and find another taxi? I apologize if my questions seem trivial, but I want to have a plan ahead of time so we can squeeze in as much beach time as possible after our race. :)
