mdlove2cruise Posted February 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2017 Flying into hobby for a breeze cruise on Friday. We plan on going to space center on Saturday and then cruise on Sunday. We were not planning on renting a car due to one way surcharge. Any recommendations for hotel near the space center that has a local shuttle or hotel at Port that offers shuttle to port? Thanks for any help, our first time to Texas.

Thanks for any help, our first time to Texas. Which Friday. None that I know of. ONE OPTION: Fly in . Since you would be paying for a transfer to Nasa area. Go on to Galveston. Rent car from Galveston Enterprise, use car until Saturday afternoon and use hotel transfer on Sunday. Or keep car to Sunday morning. If you have room in car Offer coop to other cruisers at Hotel for drop off Sunday bags and persons at terminal. One person Return car Sunday morning to Enterprise. Cab or getme.com back to terminal to cruise ship

lajbec Posted February 25, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 25, 2017 We rented a car at Hobby and kept it for the week. It was cheaper for us do pay the rental and parking (place right off the expressway in galveston) and drive back to Hobby for the return. The transfers from Houston to porr of Galveston were outrageous and we had the freedom to come and go as we pleased.
