I've complained about paying for embarkation day but was told that since you can use it after boarding and booking, and you can also use it disembarkation day until you disembark, they count it as a day. So, on a 7-night cruise (which is how Princess counts it), you pay for seven days.

Always enjoy the Sanctuary, the problem is trying to get to it to get the weekly rental before they're all taken. Not sure if still true, 1/2 are reserved for the weekly rental, 1/2 reserved for daily rental. To get daily rentals you must get there early.
