If your ship is returning to Port Everglades, and it is not arriving from a transatlantic cruise, then noon should not be a problem.

You should have no problems. Especially, since they have to have the ship ready for the next cruise. Airport is less than 10 minutes from the pier.

You are correct, that Sunday is the worse day to travel ever. Yes you can get to the airport just fine, but it's once you get to the airport when the fun starts. If you can use luggage valet that will help a lot.

 

Noon should be fine, but I won't waste time getting to the airport.

We just did 1140 and had plenty of time but also did luggage valet

I can only imagine how crowded that tiny airport is going to be on that day. Walking down from the check in area to the gate area, we were amazed at the mass of humanity we could see down there.
