Did Royal Princess get Princess Luxury Beds During September 2016 Drydock?

Recommended Posts

We are on board the Royal and I walked across the hall to ask the concierge.  She confirmed that other than the suites, the rest of the staterooms do NOT have the new beds.

I have read Royal Princess was getting new bed last week during wet dock in Freeport

I read the same thing. I’ll be onboard January 12 in a mini suite and was hoping it has the new beds. I thought that was why they were just in wet dock.

Yes?

Yes, to the Suites, I guess.

Not yet to the rest of the staterooms I guess.

it was listed on the Wet Dock Schedule that they were to be installed last week. Witness verified seeing many beds being loaded on to the ship. Perhaps it will just be a work in progress?

According to Princess they were not supposed to be installed until next year (2019) as the Royal is one of the 3 newest ships in the fleet. It's a tall order to get the other 15 ships fitted out with them first.

In post #26 above a cruiser onboard now verifies through the concierge that they have all not been replaced yet.

We can say that in our suites on the 2 Royal cruises we sailed on in the last 10 months that we did have the new mattress.

What witness are you referring to?
