Still DVD players on Nieuw Amsterdam?

There are a few threads here discussing the Oosterdam and Konsingdam tvs. It seems that the DVD players in rooms are a thing of the past. Does anyone know if they are still available on the Nieuw Amsterdam? We sail in 3 weeks and I'm trying to figure out if I should bring a portable DVD player with me. Thanks!

We did not have a DVD player in our category J cabin on the NA in January. I'm guessing when the the new interactive TV is installed the DVD player is uninstalled with the old TV.

There was not one in a Neptune Suite last month. However, the new TV had lots of On Demand selections. If you have specific DVD's you want to see, bring the player; however, there is no way to connect it to the wall mounted TV.

Agree, Neptune on the NA just had on-demand, but a huge screen and very comfortable viewing from either the chairs or the bed. And it seemed like it had a very large inventory to choose from - we only used it once.
