It's all relative, if you're cold normally then it will be cold if you're warm then you will be burning up. Almost has no bearing on Antarctic or the Caribbean if the air conditioning is on it can be cold or it can be warm just depends on your body. Dress accordingly.

The Antarctic cruises tend to be cold in winter and the Caribbean cruises warm in summer.

Actually, Caribbean cruises tend to make ships colder. The HVAC systems have to dump massive amounts of cold air into the ship's interior to keep it at a "cool" state. It tends to cause a lot of "cold spots" in public areas.

We were on the Epic in December. The public spaces seemed to be just about right. Neither warm or cold.

We went to the gym on afternoon and something was off with the temp control on that side of the ship. It was very humid and warm in the gym and in the hallways leading into that space. I don't know it was just a freak issue or a common occurrence.

Our cabin temp was a different story. It was overly warm most of the time. Most nights were uncomfortably warm. We notified customer service several times and nothing was done or could be done. We have sailed 12 other times with Disney and Fathom and never experience temp control issues in our room. When sailing NCL, I will definitely bring a fan for the room.
