Dining Room times and snacking on GEM

We have just booked our first NCL cruise on the GEM in October for the 10 night Canada/New England cruise. This is our first time at freestyle dining. Does the main dining room have set times that it is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Is there somewhere for small snacks in the afternoon and before bed? Is there juices, tea, coffee etc available free all day somewhere? Thank you in advance. Kelly

One dining room is open for breakfast between about 7:30 A.M. and 9:30 A.M.

 

One dining room should be open for lunch on days when you are at sea between 11:30 A.M. and 1:30 P.M.

 

The dining rooms open for dinner about 5:30 P.M. until at leat 9:00 P.M or later.

 

The Buffet is open until at 11:00 P.M or so. They have snacks available almost all day. Coffee, and tea are available in the Buffet all day free. The Buffet is one of your "free" dining options. Breakfast is served from about 6:00 A.M. or so every morning.

O'Sheehans is open 24 hours. Gem buffet or the outside area aft of buffet will serve snacks at times. They served food by pool bar on starboard side many of the days around lunch time.

And O'Sheeans is also complementary and if not open 24 hours, awfully close to that...seems like they maybe close from 4am-6am or something. The menu there is comfort food based - wings, fries, fish and chips, etc.

You can get coffee, tea, pastries and fruit delivered for free to your cabin at breakfast. There is a fee at other times.

If you are a casino goer, they have pastries juice and coffee early mornings and late night little sandwiches and snacks.
