Ginnyfyr Posted March 30, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 30, 2017 Booked our first NCL cruise to Bermuda last night. Got the bidding email today. When I follow the link it takes me to a page with the different Haven cabins available and a little sliding scale for you to enter your bid. There is a dollar value at the end of that scale - for instance, the H9 Haven Spa Suite with Balcony has a value of $2670 on it. Is that the rate that the cabin is currently selling for? Also, I assume that what I bid is above and beyond what I've already paid and not the new total cost of our cabin? I.e. if we paid $1500 each for our current cabin and NCL accepts a bid of $1700 per person, do I owe them a further $200 per person or am I paying $1700 per person on top of the $1500 pp we've already paid? Sorry if this is a silly question...I've been on many cruises but am completely new to NCL and the idea of bidding for an upgrade! Thanks for your help :)
SeaShark Posted March 30, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 30, 2017 The amount that you bid is the amount that you have to pay (per person) over and above what you have already paid....if your bid is accepted.
Ginnyfyr Posted March 30, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted March 30, 2017 Thank you so much for the quick response, SeaShark! Your reply is what I figured. If they accept a bid from this cheapo, it will be their loss, lol.
