Royal Caribbean Press Secretary

Recommended Posts

It would be nice if Royal Caribbean (and other cruise lines) had some more proactive interaction with its passengers and other potential customers. It could be done through Cruise Critic, FaceBook or even on its own website. Going through Cruise Critic, there are so many questions that are never really answered except through rumor and second or third-hand information. I'm sure they don't want to be nailed down and held to the answers given but, come on, even the President of the United States has a press secretary.

Would be a great idea, but over the years I have come to realize that there are so many variables that impact a wide range of cruisers.

It would be hard for one person to address all the "ins and outs" that are addressed here.

There is such vast knowledge shared from experienced cruises, the ones you know to trust, and the others.....well.

It would be nice if possible, but......

Have a great day.

Safe travels.

The best approach for a mass market service providers to engage with customers would necessarily be one within which the provider has control, and whatever engagement that goes on would necessarily be limited by how much control they truly have. Facebook and Twitter do offer companies some measure of control, and many cruise lines do maintain a presence, allow posting by others and often reply to such posts. Naturally, these interactions are invariably promotion of the company's offerings, not the kind of debate that some customers seeking new avenues of engagement want.
