Stanley Cup Playoffs on Escape

Last year we were on the Escape in early May and could not watch ANY Stanley Cup games. It was so frustrating. I was told at Guest Services that they couldn't get the games, but they had no problem getting other sports. We'll be on the Escape again May 6th. Can someone who is sailing within the next few weeks report back please? Thank you!

IDK even know how far my team will make it tbh, DH's team didn't make it, but we'd still like to watch any game in the District. We get updates while in port & the bartender on our excursion to Jost put the NHL network on for us last time. :cool:

Ugh, no respect! We got a lot of golf, tennis, basketball, lingerie football league (seriously) and Nascar. I don't remember seeing baseball, but this is the playoffs!

good luck we Re huge Lightning Fans and every year we hope we will find them some where on the ship

 

we just got off the Getaway and in the casino they had the caps playing so I sat there for a while watching them lol

 

this year the playoffs are going to be rough to watch :eek::loudcry:

I will be on your sailing but also the week before. I will try and find this post with an answer once i ask. I know in december they showed some NHL games in o sheehans so who knows

Last May when we were on the Pearl (Pens fans) we had the Pens app and unlimited internet and listened to the game on our app... had a bunch in our cabin and celebrated with champagne when our team won game seven to go to the cup. It was the live Pens broadcast on the app so worked out well.

It might be that they would rather have you out of your room spending your cash instead of sitting by the television. Although, I remember watching the MLB World Series in one of the lounges on Carnival and that was a lot of fun.

I will be on the April 29th sailing also looking for some playoff hockey with a small group of crazy hockey fans. If I find them showing games somewhere on the ship I will try and post back here.

If you want to watch hockey playoff then don't book a cruise during playoffs.

We are on the Escape right now, and tonight the Edmonton vs Vancouver game is on the one sports channel in the room, so I think you have done hope of games being on.

I saw far more hockey games than I expected on my cruise last fall. I watched games at Maltings two nights, and one in my room on the last night. This was on the Breakaway, not the Epic, but I imagine that the channel lineups will be similar. You have some hope of seeing a few playoff games, but whether or not they'll involve your teams is another story. None of the games I saw involved the teams I follow, but any hockey is better than no hockey!
