aflyingbuttress Posted April 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2017 Yesterday I was looking at a Western Caribbean itinerary on the Escape out of Miami in January. I went back to book it last night and now it is doing the Eastern Caribbean itinerary every week. I'm super disappointed. I really do not want to do the other itinerary, which I have done on nearly every cruise I've ever been on. Any chance they might change it back? mdsgu Posted April 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2017 If the ship is not a big deal, have you thought about a western Caribbean out of New Orleans?

aflyingbuttress Posted April 20, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted April 20, 2017 The ship was a bit of a big deal. I don't really enjoy the ports much and almost always stay on the ship or only go for a couple of hours. But I was hoping to try something different. We're going with our 5 year old so really wanted the water park feature.

Loonbeam Posted April 20, 2017 #7 Share Posted April 20, 2017 Given the most likely reason for the change was berth availability, its unlikely it will revert. As noted, you may want to look at RCCL, several of their ships have water parks (as does CCL).
aflyingbuttress Posted April 20, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted April 20, 2017 Check out RCI I would love to go on RCI. Their deposits are fairly hefty though and I was hoping to make use of NCLs $50 deposit.

I believe the Getaway will be doing the Western Caribbean at that time. It's a little smaller than Escape but has the waterslides and most of the other amenities. They're pretty similar except for size, but the Getaway is still a large ship.
