cuti Posted April 21, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2017 I just booked Anthem of the Seas for end of June. It leaves from Port Liberty. If we go early and stay in NYC, what transportation company would you recommend and how pricy is it to get to the port on a Monday morning? Anyone have a good tour recommendation for NYC that includes Statue of Liberty? And any hotel recommendations? We are thinking flying into and out of Newark makes the most sense. Thanks! What exact dates would you need a hotel room? What is your budget? Two people? What kind of beds? Do you actually want to go out to the Statue of Liberty? Up in the Pedestal or crown? This is typically a DIY activity, not part of a tour. A tour might include viewing her from Battery Park, not actually going out to Liberty Island. Flying in and out of Newark makes sense. cuti Posted April 21, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted April 21, 2017 My mom wants to see Statue from a boat. Doesn't care if we go up though. We found a hotel in time square. Hope that location is ok. I really haven't been in a long time. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

For $18.50 ($14 for seniors) you can just take the official Statue of Liberty ferry to Liberty Island, Ellis Island, and back and never get off. If you do the official boat make sure you purchase a timed ticket online from home. The line is hours long otherwise. There are also sailboat trips which leave Battery Park or another marina near World Trade Center. If you stay in Times Square it is about a half an hour subway ride down to Battery Park.
